3 Fashion Movies You Can Not Miss To Watch

If fashion magazines or fashion blogs can help you increase your awareness of fashion, then fashion movies are more intuitive, more visually appealing, and subtly influencing your sense of fashion. Here are 3 fashion movies that you can not miss.

《 The Dressmaker》

This is a fashion drama that includes love, revenge, high fashion, and comedy. In 1950s Australia, Tilly Dunnage (Kate Winslet) is a beautiful and talented dressmaker. She returns home after years working in Paris, to right the wrongs of the past. Costume design is undoubtedly a highlight. Tilly's bold, bright design contrasts with the outdated darkness of the town. In the end, Tilly burned the town and finished her revenge(goddamn, it is so cool).

《The Marvelous Mrs.Maisel

Set in the 1850s, the series is an inspirational comedy about a woman who decides to start a new life after her husband's infidelity. The costumes of Midge, all come from the stylist Donna Zakowska. It looks like a real-time “fashion show”. If you are a vintage style fanatic, it is a great series to learn how to dress vintage style.

《Phantom Thread》

The film is about the strange love story between Reynolds, the London-based haute couture designer, and Alma, Reynolds's muse of London in the 1950s. The heroine likes to wear Mary Jane shoes.  As a fashion movie with a real story, the quality and collocation of any clothing worn by people on any occasion have subtly affected the credibility of the film and the characters.
